Steel Frame Rising in Forreston, TX | 4,300 sqft Barndominium Build Begins | Texas Best Construction

Steel is going up in Forreston, Texas! This brand-new monitor-style hybrid steel frame barndominium has been in the works for a while, and we’re finally going vertical.

After dealing with a main power line running through the foundation area and delaying steel erection, our team is back on site making serious progress.

This home will feature over 6,300 sq ft under roof, including:

  • ~4,300 sq ft of living space
  • ~2,000 sq ft of porches

The design, by Stacy Lynn from The Barndominium Company, includes a detached shop, large back porch, and a future pool area that will tie the property together as construction progresses.

In this video, we highlight what makes this project unique:

  • Monitor-style design
  • Differences between a standard hybrid steel frame and our advanced hybrid steel frame system
  • Insulation techniques and condensation prevention
  • Roof options for long-term durability

Stick around as we cover everything from steel erection and framing progress to layout details and build techniques that make these Texas barndominiums stand out.

Big things are happening here in Forreston, and we can’t wait to show you more as the project comes to life!
