RAINSCREEN Is it a DUMB NAME?

RAINSCREEN, it is a word that that gets tossed around the Building Science circles, but does it really make sense? In this video we take a close look at a number of different Rainscreen systems and take a close look at the name “Rainscreen”. It drains and vents, and arguably it screens, but I question the name Rainscreen. Of course Big Red joins in as we breakdown the idea behind the rainscreen. Who knows, maybe we come up with a new name ??? ………Enjoy.
