Why did these specialty windows arrive after the rest of the main house windows? Mike showcases a window installation at a custom home, focusing on a unique corner window detail. The windows provide a minimal sight line by eliminating structural framing at the corner. Instead, the structure is supported by a hidden 6x6 steel post and cantilevered LVL beams, allowing for a clean, open aesthetic. Inside, Mike explains how the weight is distributed through floating headers and concealed footings to maintain the sleek design. He also notes that two window manufacturers were used intentionally to achieve the best results for different parts of the home.
