What does it actually mean to build a house better than code?

Why raise the standard?

Can we actually define what that looks like?

Matt Risinger, Tim Hill, and Jordan Smith take viewers inside the Build HD Standard, a practical approach to building homes that are more durable, resilient, and designed to last for generations.

Follow along as they build a home from the ground up, going beyond minimum code to explore better water management, air control, mechanical design, materials, and the critical decisions that happen before the walls are covered.

Build to code. Then go beyond.
