Having built several net zero homes I definitely see the benefit of them from both an environmental and financial perspective. Especially down here in Texas where solar energy doesn’t just supply your home’s energy, but also nets you a profit if you want to sell it back to the grid.
However, I do think the term net zero is thrown around a lot and sometimes can effect a build in a negative way.
