Torch-Down Waterproofing for Precast Concrete Garage Floors

Mike Conneely of Greenside Design Build walks through waterproofing a garage floor built from precast concrete planks over a finished basement. A torch-down modified asphalt membrane goes down in overlapping layers, with the seams melted together and the material run up the walls. Spray-on waterproofing at the door entrance adds a backup layer. Mike explains why he favors torch-down over EPDM, noting that it tolerates a rough substrate and resists
