Ductless mini splits are the practical choice, but the client's commitment to period-appropriate aesthetics rules out ceiling cassettes. Forced-air duct work runs into structural LVL beams, limited knee wall access, and a client who won't accept soffits. High-velocity systems like Unico or the RHE could thread through tighter spaces, but no single solution cleanly checks every box given the home's layout and the client's design priorities.
