They Are RUINING Modern Tools

All right — a little rant about modern tools and why simple, functional design still wins for me.

I walk through hammers, saws, chisels, and framing guns to show how older tools often have a timeless, no-nonsense appeal: less marketing fluff, more durability, and honest function.

I also show a modified Vaughn hammer proof-of-concept and talk through features I’ll include if I manufacture my own head — side/top puller options, flat vs curved claws, and more.

If you like this kind of old-meets-new tool content, subscribe and hit the bell — I’ve got more rigging, framing, and tool builds coming (and yes, the meth-house reno is next).

— Jarod / Coffman Construction

Featured tools: Stiletto TB3, Martinez, Douglas, vintage worm-drive saw, Buck Bros. chisel, NV83A framing gun.
