What if I said we took the roof frame of a 4000 square foot house, cut it in the lumberyard, packaged it up, shipped out to the jobsite, unpackaged it, and framed the roof without cutting the rafters onsite. What if I added that the Hip Roof frame had nice, beautiful, tight fitting rafters? Would you believe me? Well sit back because I too was skeptical.
