Lydia from Build Show takes a first look at Mica Wall, a textile-based wall treatment made from cotton, silk, mica, and metallic glitter. Unlike traditional plasters, it's mixed by hand with water and applied using a plastic trowel — no specialized skills required. Coverage runs about 50 square feet per bag, and the mixed product stays workable for 24 hours. It requires a level three drywall finish or primed surface underneath, but needs no sealing once dry. The line includes several finishes, among them glow-in-the-dark options suited for media and game rooms. Bags start around $135.
