I'm Almost Done Turning a Meth House Into MY DREAM HOME...
The abandoned house is finally starting to feel like a home.
In this episode, we hit one of the biggest milestones of the entire renovation. The drywall is finished, the house gets painted, I install the last missing window, wire up electrical, convert the shop lighting to LED, and finally install the flooring throughout the house.
For flooring, I partnered with McMillan Floors, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. We used their Savona laminate flooring, and it's easily one of the nicest floating floors I've installed. The oversized planks, built-in underlayment, tight locking system, and premium feel made installation fast while delivering an incredible finished product. If you're looking for flooring that looks great and is built to last, definitely check them out.
This house has come a long way from being a stripped-out meth house, and we're getting closer every week to moving my family into our new home. Next up: trim, doors, cabinets, countertops, siding, and everything else needed to finally finish this renovation.
