How This Mini Split System Cools Both Garage and Attic Efficiently

Register for Build Show LIVE 2025 HERE

Eric showcases The Risinger Build garage, highlighting its high-end finishes and intelligent mechanical setup. The garage features a one-to-one mini split system with a ceiling cassette that not only cools the garage but also helps condition the attic space above. An exhaust fan, triggered by a temperature switch, draws superheated attic air into the garage, where it's cooled by the mini split before being recirculated. Skylight wells with ducted grates allow cooler garage air to be pulled into the attic when the hatch is closed, maintaining a more moderate temperature for equipment and storage. Eric emphasizes the benefits of having a cooled garage, especially in hot climates like Texas.
