We call it the foundation, but it is not one thing. It is an assembly of components that make up the foundation. To further complicate things it has an interior and an exterior. In this video we will breakdown the components of the assembly on the interior of the foundation wall to include the slab assembly. One of the interesting points of these assemblies is that although this home is destined for Passive House Certification, you will be pretty surprised at how simple these assemblies are.
