A professional geotechnical report from our site soil test revealed a severe four to five inch PVR, indicating massive ground movement during seasonal water table shifts. To solve this problem permanently, we partnered with Gunner Holt and the specialized crew at USS Soil Stabilization to apply commercial Chemical Injections directly into the building pad.

This advanced engineering solution uses an eco-friendly sulfuric acid-based chemical blend that alters the clay at a molecular level, causing the soil to permanently repel water. This process locks in the moisture density and safely reduces the site PVR to under one percent, turning volatile dirt into a stable, rock-solid foundation bed.

Because the chemical compound requires a massive water volume to act as a transport vehicle deep into the earth, this site preparation operation consumes between thirty thousand and fifty thousand gallons of water.

We coordinated directly with the Rocket Water Utility District to rent a specialized backflow utility meter and tap into a local fire hydrant, delivering a massive flow rate of one hundred gallons per minute.

The entire high-pressure injection grid is executed in two meticulous passes:

  • First Pass: Injection points placed four feet apart across the entire footprint, driving down twelve feet deep while holding pressure for fifteen to thirty seconds at every one-foot vertical interval.
  • Second Pass: Targets the exact midpoints of those rows, creating a tight two-foot grid that ensures total coverage beneath the custom living spaces and the massive front porch slab.
