You may be too young for the Star Trek reference, but your’re never too young to learn a little something about the beam structure to a residential floor frame. In this week’s video I discuss just that. For one of our current projects we review the various beams that go into it to help hold up the floor framing. I talk about why many of the choices are made and what the variables help the decision process. Of course BIG RED joins in and walks thru the solutions used on the project. Maybe we won’t get teleported, but at least we learn a little something about the beam structures in residential framing………Enjoy.
