Mock ups, I think they are a very valuable tool to convey specific ideas to the client to properly manage their expectations. In the case of a current project with Shoreline Builders the contractor mocked up the kitchen layout for a discussion with the client. The Mock Up has two very valuable results – 1. It allows the client to see the layout at full scale and either confirm or alter final decisions. 2. It allows the client to be thoroughly engaged in the project during construction.
