14,000 SqFt Black Gold Luxury Barndominium Tour| Texas Best Construction

Join us for an exclusive tour of one of the finest custom barndominium homes ever built in Texas known as the Black Gold Barndominium. This incredible project represents a new take on luxury living with a massive 14,000 square feet of total under roof space including the porches and detached structures. The build utilizes an advanced hybrid steel frame design featuring a complete framing system encapsulated with Huber Zip R sheathing for superior air tightness and energy efficiency. The exterior showcases a stunning combination of charcoal roof and trim mixed with brilliant white siding and black accents along with Austin stone wainscoting and Mac architectural metal details on the dormers and soffits.

Step inside the stately steel front door to discover a breathtaking interior starting with a specialized conditioned wine room and leading into a massive 2,500 square foot great room. The central focal point is a massive ten foot wide Austin stone fireplace equipped with an Isokern volcanic pumice firebox for tremendous heat output. The open concept design flows seamlessly into a chef inspired kitchen featuring simple Shaker style cabinets and beautiful white quartz countertops alongside a full Sub Zero fridge and double ovens. We utilized sliding glass doors throughout the lower level to eliminate the need for traditional windows and allow every downstairs bedroom to have private access to the wrap around porches.

This home is designed to entertain and sleep a crowd with the capacity to host over 48 guests across 24 beds throughout the property. The layout includes a sprawling 14 bed bunk room upstairs and a rare Texas basement that houses an additional 6 bed bunk room plus a full kitchenette and living area. The basement features poured concrete walls and its own Cooper and Hunter mini split system separate from the main house variable speed units and ERV fresh air systems. Beyond the main residence sits a detached 40 by 80 foot Gambrel style barn with 3,200 square feet of floor space featuring horse stalls and drive through access for tractors. From the washable Trusscore garage walls to the hybrid heat pump water heater every detail of this build was carefully planned.
