10,000sqft Sports Barndominium Update | Texas Best Construction
We are making huge strides on this 10,000 square foot Sports Barndominium by installing top-tier exterior and interior finishes that define the look and durability of this project.
In this video, we team up with Shawn Webb from Acme Brick to break down the specific products chosen to elevate the build. Exterior highlights include MAC Architectural Metals in Smoked Birch, offering the aesthetic of wood with the longevity of steel. This board and batten siding is maintenance-free and features a concealed fastener system for a clean, modern appearance. We pair the metal siding with Charcoal Lueders stone for wainscoting and retaining wall caps from Apex Stone, grounding the structure with natural textures.
Inside, we use Acme Thin Brick to create authentic brick accent walls, saving floor space while providing the look and feel of full brick, including 90-degree corners. The gymnasium features Gray Trusscore wall panels for impact resistance and easy cleaning, while tongue and groove pine ceilings layered with Quieture sound dampening material manage acoustics in the large open space.
Additional progress includes the TPO roof system and preparation for an innovative Inbrico floating tile deck system on the exterior balcony. Bathroom crews are installing vertical stacked black tile for a modern aesthetic, and the mechanical room is prepped with Trusscore backing for water manifolds and electrical panels.
This complex project involves multiple trades working simultaneously to bring this luxury sports facility to life. Texas Best Construction is committed to using the best materials, like those from Acme Brick, to ensure this Sports Barndominium stands the test of time.
