WHAT IS A MOMENT FRAME?
WHAT IS A MOMENT FRAME?
Join Wade this week for Part 3 of the Structural Series as he discusses what a Moment Frame is and why Wade often sees them on his builds. Wade explains that the primary advantage of a moment frame is that they do not have structural walls. Therefore providing architectural freedom in design by providing open bays and unobstructed views. As a majority of Wade's builds are either on the water or with water views, having a lot of glass to enjoy those views isn't as easy as you might think. Wade connects his Part 2 episode on Shear Walls to using moment frames in the right application.
