The designer doesn't like my work...

Richard McMurray from Finish Carpentry TV documents a job-site setback caused by miscommunication between a builder and a designer.

After receiving an inspiration photo, the builder installs a diamond-pattern tongue-and-groove design on the walls and ceiling, only to later realize key elements—like decorative beams—were misunderstood. As a result, part of the finished work has to be removed and redone.

The process of fabricating large decorative beam supports using templates, routing, and bending plywood is also showcased.

Viewer reactions to a previous viral clip about baseboard outlets are touched on, explaining that while unconventional, they meet code in his experience.
