Roof Framing Project 171 part 6

We’ve made it up to the roof framing stage in this video, one of the most exciting and challenging parts of the build. You’ll see us setting massive glulam ridge beams, which provide both the strength and stability needed to carry the roof loads. From there, we dive into framing gable roofs and walk through the techniques that keep everything square, straight, and properly supported. We also tackle some irregular roof geometry—those tricky details that don’t always show up in the plans but demand careful layout and precise cuts in the field. This stage brings together craftsmanship and problem-solving, and it’s a great look at how our crew approaches complex framing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
