Episode 6: Framing Wrap-up

Now that the framing, decks and exterior window trim is complete, Wade and the team are transitioning to mechanical, plumbing and electrical aspects of the build. On this episode, discover key aspects of the unique build including the decks around the house, such as the ones from the upper kitchen and living room. Also, notice the tiered retaining wall, designed in due to elevation change. Wade goes deep into the conversations he's having with his subcontractors and the coordination needed between all groups for these important aspects: plumbing, waste pipes, light fixtures, etc. He'll discuss some HVAC challenges on the upper floor and how they're navigating them to ensure hot and cool air is reaching the many spaces of the second floor.
